  I'm Sheila LaSella and I'm a Connecticut State Licensed Massage Therapist, Meditation Teacher, Reiki     Practitioner, Let Animals Lead® Reiki Practitioner, Polarity Therapist and a RYSE 3 Practitioner and Teacher.

  I've been meditating regularly since 1997 spending two of those years meditating and studying full-time at   Gampo Abbey, a Buddhist monastery in Nova Scotia, Canada where I studied under Pema Chodron, who is   the principal teacher and one of the founding monastics of the Abbey. I took my refuge vows and my Bodhisattva vows with Pema and served as her attendant when she was in residence.

  I teach meditation and help people with practical, straightforward techniques to focus and calm the mind.

I’ve been a Massage Therapist since 2009 and I have a private practice in Fairfield, CT at 1885 Post Rd and I specialize in relieving neck, shoulder and back pain.

I’m also a Reiki Practitioner for people and animals. I studied the Let Animals Lead method of Animal Reiki with Kathleen Prasad.

I’m a Polarity Therapist, which is a form of energy healing based on Ayurvedic medicine from India.
